Aerial acoustic foam was introduced for low-budget acoustic treatments. The shape is similar to wedge acoustic foam but features rounded CNC edges to reduce slap-back sounds and echo. The thickness is fixed at 1.3" and is available in only two colors. Sound flows over the waves of the acoustic foam and gets absorbed during this process. The NRC of this product is approximately 0.65, and minor sound isolation is possible due to the lower thickness. It is best suited for beginner-level home recording studios and places where reducing sound is a concern.
